Pharaohs’ Golden Parade is magnificent and fascinating,

while it holds many questions concerning its goals:

In an event which was watched by the whole world and in a glorious parade, 22 royal pharaonic mummies were moved on Saturday evening from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir square in central Cairo to the “National Museum of Egyptian Civilization” in Fustat, south of the capital.

At around 20:30, Pharoahs’ Golden Parade reached its new headquarters in the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. Mummies were accompanied by 60 motorcycles, 150 horses and a musical band from the Ministry of Defense, according to authorities. It is noteworthy that for two days before the Parade, security operations were held which included the closure of Tahrir square and full closure of the Parade’s way on its day, starting from Tahrir square then the direction of pharaonic floats (mummy mobiles) to Simón Bolívar, then towards the Nile Corniche in El-Sayeda Zainab and Old Cairo neighborhoods. Then the Parade continues its way to Cairo Citadel Aqueduct and continues alongside the Nile till reaching the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat.

During the royal trip which lasted about 45 minutes, all roads which were near the Parade in Cairo, were empty of passer-by and cars.

The show was live on the Egyptian Television and via Twitter. #Pharoas’_Golden_Parade hashtag tops searches globally on social networks. Artillery has fired 21 shots, saluting kings before being received by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi  The Parade has included 22 pharaonic mummies, including the mummies of 18 kings and 4 queens which the most notable of them were Ramses II and Hatshepsut. The Parade which fascinated all who watched it, wasn’t without voices of objections due to its high cost during current economic crisis, as well as political reasons that are being used to highlight the current authority .

Ambassador Ahmed Hafez, official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Egyptian and Sudanese regimes follow the approach of reason

and wisdom before tending to military choice in light of the continuing Ethupian intransigence:

Ambassador Ahmed Hafes, Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has said that negotiations’ round held in Kinshasa concerning the Renaissance Dam during the 4th and 5th of April of 2021, didn’t achieve any progress nor did it lead to an agreement on relaunching negotiations.

Ethiopia has rejected the Sudanese proposal which was approved by Egypt concerning the formation of an international quartet led by Democratic Republic of the Congo which heads African Union  in order to mediate among the three countries. In addition, Ethiopia has refused during the meeting all proposals and other alternatives proposed by Egypt and supported by Sudan in order to develop the negotiative operation to enable countries and parties which participate in negotiations as observers, to join effectively in talks, participate in conducting negotiations and propose solutions to controversial legal and technical issues.

Moreover, Ethiopia has rejected Egyptian proposals submitted during the closing session of the ministerial meeting and supported by Sudan in order to resume negotiation under the leadership of Congolese President and with participation of observers based on the current negotiating mechanism. That clearly demonstrates flexibility and responsibility of Egypt and Sudan and confirms their serious desire in reaching an agreement concerning the Renaissance Dam. However, Ethiopia has rejected that proposal which has led to the meeting’s failure in reaching a consensus concerning relaunching negotiations. Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has mentioned that this situation reveals again the absence of Ethiopian political will for a bona fide negotiation while seeking procrastination through being satisfied with a formal and useless negotiation mechanism, which is an unfortunate approach that the Egyptian negotiator is well aware of.

On the other hand, Egyptian Armed Forces has declared launching the activities of the joint air training with Sudan named “Nile Eagles 2” Military maneuvers in “Merowe” air base in Northern Sudan with the participation of Egyptian and Sudanese Armed Forces. The Egyptian Armed Forces announced in a statement that maneuvers have included a number of intensive training activities which started their first rounds by the procedures of instructions and the method of organizing cooperation in order to unify concepts and refine skills to manage joint air operations in high efficiency[.

"For the first time, I cannot determine whether the results of the elections in the Press Syndicate were real or unreal. The procedures that marred the counting process did not even give me the opportunity to admit that the announced result is an expression of the will of those who voted, no matter how strong this will was from the pressures and no matter how the course of election's preparation was disturbed by violations which we got used to experience them. I chose to run in the elections within their rules, but for the first time I found that I could not know the extent of the truth of the results and their expression, even from our reality with all the circumstances that distort it, which prompted me to submit an appeal to the counting procedures since its start. We submitted the request during the counting and after I registered my objections at its beginning

in Egypt which is Biden’s first round with the Sisi regime:

The US State Department issued its annual report on the human rights situation in Egypt for the year 2020, as part of its periodic report submitted to Congress on countries that receive aid from the United States of America. The report monitored a large number of violations, indicating that the government contributes to creating a climate of impunity.

The report monitored the various situations related to individual safety, respect for civil rights, freedom to participate in the political process, corruption, lack of transparency within government institutions, government performance with regard to international and human rights investigations into allegations of human rights violations, issues of discrimination, societal violence, human trafficking, and workers’ rights. The report also quoted local and international human rights organizations their concern about the limited margin available to exercise the right to organize and assemble, which severely limits broad participation in the political process. While the report described the Egyptian authorities ’management of the House and Senate elections in a professional manner in accordance with local laws, it transferred Also, observers of the incidents of restrictions on the freedom of peaceful assembly, political organization and expression of opinion, which negatively affected the political climate surrounding the elections. the three presidencies and end the crisis:

In addition, they discussed the national dialogue and its management mechanisms, including parties that would participate in it, the proposed issues and ways to facilitate and hold it as soon as possible. The debate continues and the procrastination of the establishment of the Constitutional Court, as after a suspension of more than 6 years, the debate is still ongoing in this regard. However, before going into this controversy and political conflict, we do not fail to mention the concept of the Constitutional Court and the legal basis for its establishment. The Constitutional Court is a judicial body stipulated in Article 118 of the Constitution, consisting of 12 members, at least of which must be specialists in law, and they are appointed as follows:

appointed by the President of the Republic
0 Members
appointed by the Assembly of the Representatives of the People
0 Members
Members appointed by the Supreme Judicial Council
0 Members

Its tasks, including monitoring the constitutionality of constitutional amendment, the constitutionality of treaties and laws, as well as the internal system. The Constitutional Court can even exempt the President of the Republic by presenting a list presented by the Speaker of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People for a grave breach of the constitution and approved by the deputies. In addition, It may consider disputes between the President of the Republic and Prime Minister Head and assign jurisdiction to one of them.

In this context, the Assembly of the Representatives of the People intends to appoint on April 8th to select 3 members of the Constitutional Court. However, he did not take into account the possibility of returning the law to the Assembly of Representatives, which was done by the President of the Republic, as he sent this evening Saturday 3 April 2021 a letter to the Speaker of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People informing him through his response to the law on the Constitutional Court dated December 3, 2015. The president explained that he resorted to the right of answer guaranteed by the constitution to him with a set of legal arguments, the most important of which are those related to the constitutional deadlines stipulated in the fifth paragraph of Article No.148 of the 2014 constitution, in addition to other legal elements related to what Tunisia has witnessed since the constitution was drafted to this day .

The end of the national dialogue at the of Habib Bourguiba mausoleum, and Kais’s bids are continuing:

Several parties also blamed the President of the Republic’s speech during his visit to the tomb of the late leader Habib Bourguiba on the 21st anniversary of his death, as it is a speech which includes threat and menace in addition to carrying his usual reference to hidden parties and lobbies. It was also likely during this visit, and contrary to all expectations, that it does not intend to hold a national dialogue in the near future. He considered the parties to this dialogue as a group of lobbies and that he could not negotiate with them, which would deepen the current political crisis and throw the state into a dark tunnel.

The President of the Republic indicated that he does not bear the burden of not establishing the Constitutional Court within the deadlines stipulated by the constitution, and that interpretations to justify exceeding these deadlines are unacceptable because the constitutional text is clear and because the breach remains a breach no matter how long the time is and cannot be justified by a breach of the same.

Despite intensifying internal and external meetings, the seventh resignation of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic:

On the international level, the President of the Republic, Kais Saeied, received on Thursday April 1, 2021, Mr. Sabri Boukadoum, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Algeria, who informed him a verbal message from the Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

On the national level, the President of the Republic met with Mr. Mohamed Al-Nasser, former Speaker of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People, who assumed the duties of the President of the Republic before the 2019 elections, especially after the publication of his book “Two Republics and One Tunisia”, which deals with important historical milestones, including the issue of the attempted coup. Against the former president, Beji Caid Essebsi, a narrative that Tunisians were divided and disputed by a large group in exchange for a majority that supported it. Several persons interpreted this meeting as an approval from the President of the Republic to this information and that he supported what was mentioned in Mohamed El Nasser book.

However, despite the intensification of these visits at the national and international levels, it seems that at a time when the Prime Minister seeks to gather the largest number of supporters, the President of the Republic is losing the members of his office one after the other, as the resignation of Mr. Ismail Al-Badawi represented the seventh consecutive resignation at the Office of the Presidency of the Republic. This raises many questions at the political levelDo these resignations express an explicit abandonment of the President of the Republic, or are they carried out for purely professional reasons and not politically symbolic ?!

Intensive governmental action, is it for developing the economic situation Or mobilizing more supporters for the prime minister ?!

Prime Minister Hicham El Mechichi signed a joint statement with the Tunisian General Labor Union on studying the status of public enterprises. Regarding the national dialogue, HiCham El Mechichi expressed that the features of this dialogue have not yet been clear, and that the government will inevitably remain.

In addition to the economic situation, Prime Minister Hicham Mechichi is seeking to solve the problems of other sectors and at the same time gathering as many parties as possible on his side. It is clear that he is pursuing a policy of “killing two birds with one stone”. In this context, on Thursday afternoon, on April 1, 2021, Prime Minister Hicham Mechichi has met Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council Youssef Bouzakher at the Government Palace in the Kasbah. , During this meeting Mechishi emphasized the role of the Supreme Judicial Council in building the rule of law and ensuring the independence of the judiciary from the rest of the authorities. For all political disputes..

In a follow-up to the infant killing case at Wassila Bourguiba Hospital, 3 suspects were charged with the accidental killing of the director of the obstetrics and infant medicine center, the director of maintenance and the head of the pharmacy department in the same center.

In another context, terrorist operations are renewed again this week, as the Ministry of Interior confirmed that it had managed to eliminate 3 terrorists in Jbel Mghila, including the leader of the terrorist organization “Soldiers of the Caliphate,” Hamdi Dhoeb following a pre-emptive operation with the Ministry of Defense. Health situation: Dangerous epidemiological indicators and an upcoming third wave:

The seriousness of the epidemiological situation increases with the increase in the number of cases and the depletion of the absorption capacity of the resuscitation’s beds on the one hand and the slow process of vaccination on the other hand. However, despite these negative indicators, Tunisia was able to sign an agreement with the World Bank at an estimated value of $ 100 million, on easy terms, for the benefit of acquiring the Covid-19 vaccination while strengthening the capacities of the Ministry of Health’s interests to carry out vaccination campaigns in the best condition In addition, on Thursday, the 1st of April, the second batch of vaccination arrived with the framework of Kovacs initiative.

A mysterious boat leads the UN Security Council to uncover more violations of the United Nations resolution regarding the provision

and transfer of military equipment to the parties to the Libyan conflict:

A new report by the UN Security Council revealed the accusation of a Maltese arms trader in the Libyan conflict. Where ships owned by him transported military contractors, mercenaries, to Libya. The trader named James Finish denied the accusations attributed to him, saying: He was not aware of the use of his ships in those activities, but investigations showed that he did not technically comply with the United Nations decision to ban the supply of weapons to Libya, and that Finish provided two boats to evacuate a team of private military contractors from Benghazi to the Maltese capital Valletta in 2019. He and four others are confronting criminal charges in Malta, related to circumventing European Union sanctions by supplying Libyan authorities with inflatable boats.

The Committee of Experts on Libya explained that it had monitored an operation called “Project Opus”, which included providing military support through an attack helicopter, another for reconnaissance, spying devices, and carrying out abductions and liquidations of high-value targets in Libya. Its members moved from Jordan and Valletta in June 2019. However, the report indicates that by the end of the month, it was decided to evacuate the team of 20 military personnel from Benghazi to Valletta due to disagreements over the aircraft purchased for operations, using boats owned by James Finish. The latter informed the United Nations that he had been told that the ships he provided would be used to evacuate oil and gas workers. UN experts have questioned this interpretation, given Finish’s known close ties to private military companies Taking care of his other business, and his knowledge of the individuals and organizations involved in the ship charter, the committee considers that this is unlikely to be a reliable explanation.

The story began when a mysterious boat was found registered in Malta in the port of Zueitina, about 150 kilometers south of Benghazi. The incident raised suspicions that it was used to infiltrate in and out of the country; This prompted the Libyan authorities to open an investigation.
